Instructions

  • The first thing you are going to do is hard boil your eggs. Make sure the eggs are completely submerged in the boiling water and boil for about 10 minutes. Remove eggs from the boiling water and place in a boil of ice water. This will stop them from cooking.
  • Next, peel the boiled eggs gently so the whites remain intact. I recommend doing this under running water. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the egg yolks and place in a medium bowl, place the whites on a serving platter.
  • Using a fork, mash up the yellow yolks. Then add the mayonnaise, vinegar, salt, and pepper, stir until smooth. Fill each egg white with the yolk mixture with a spoon.
  • Next you are going to make the spooky spiders out of the black olives. Create the spider legs by cutting an olive half length wise several times. Use an olive half for the spider body. Place the olive pieces on top of the egg yolk mixture. Use the photos for reference. You can use tweezers if you need to!

Notes

Keep them in the refrigerator. I recommend serving the same day you make them.
