Easy Cranberry Sauce Recip

Easy Cranberry Sauce Recipe; flavored with orange juice, this cranberry sauce is a staple for the Thanksgiving and Christmas table!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag Cranberries (Frozen or Fresh, just not dried)
  • ½ Cup Orange Juice
  • ½ Cup Water
  • ¾ Cup White Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Orange Zest

Instructions
 

  • The first thing you are going to do is heat a medium sauce pan over high heat. Add the the orange juice, water and sugar and allow it to slightly boil. Next, add the cranberries, orange zest and return to a simmer.
  • Once it is well combined, reduce the heat to low-medium and simmer for about 10 minutes. You will know when it is done when the cranberries are all bursting open. To make them combine well, you can take a fork and mash the cranberries.
  • Once you have a cranberry sauce texture. Transfer to a glass serving bowl and cover. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving, or make ahead and leave in the fridge for up to one week. It can also be frozen for up to two months, just thaw in the fridge the night before.
