TURMERIC LATTE RECIPE (GOLDEN MILK)

Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 cups milk (any type of milk - cow's milk, almond milk, coconut milk, etc.)
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground turmeric
  • 1 pinch Ground cinnamon
  • teaspoon Fresh ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon Honey or maple syrup
  • 1 pinch black pepper  (optional, but it helps with the absorption of turmeric)

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium-low heat until it is warm. Be careful not to let it boil.
  • Add the ground turmeric, cinnamon, and ginger to the warm milk. Whisk well to ensure that all the spices are evenly distributed.
  • Continue to heat the milk for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool for a minute.
  • Stir in the honey or maple syrup, adjusting the amount to suit your taste preferences. If you prefer a sweeter latte, feel free to add more sweetener.
  • If desired, add a pinch of black pepper to the latte. Black pepper helps with the absorption of turmeric, but it is optional.
  • Pour the turmeric latte into your favorite mug and enjoy!
