CHOCOLATE COCONUT MILK LATTE RECIPE

This Chocolate Coconut Milk Latte Recipe is the perfect caffeine fix for chocolate lovers who want a dairy-free and gluten free option! Vegan yet creamy and delicious! Better than Starbucks!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup can of coconut milk
  • ¼ cup strong brewed coffee or a shot of espresso
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (more or less to preferance)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar (or sweetener of choice)
  • pinch of sea salt
  • Whipped cream & chocolate shavings (optional, but highly encouraged)

Instructions
 

  • Grab a saucepan and mix together the coconut milk, coffee, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, and sea salt. Heat that bad boy up over medium heat, whisking constantly to make sure everything combines smoothly. You're looking for a nice, velvety texture.
  • Heat until just before boiling—you don't want to scorch this heavenly mixture. Once it's heated through and well combined, remove from heat.
  • Pour that gorgeous chocolatey latte into your favorite mug. I mean, who doesn't have a favorite mug, am I right?
  • (Optional, but c'mon... treat yourself) A dollop of whipped cream and some fancy chocolate shavings can be the cherry on top of this tasty creation.
