Natural Vapor Rub Recipe for Adults

Easy homemade vapor rub for colds, congestion and inflammation. Made with coconut oil, shea butter, essential oils and beeswax!

  • n a small sauce pan, turn on medium heat. Place coconut oil, shea butter and beeswax into the sauce pan and stir until completely melted.
  • Remove from heat and add in the essential oils. Mix in with a wooden spatula or spoon until full combined.
  • Pour mixture into an air tight glass container. Allow rub to cool for about one hour before covering with lid. Store in a cool dark place.

Notes

  • To use this vapor rub, apply and massage onto the chest to relieve cough and congestion in adults
  • Do not use this recipe on children. Eucalyptus essential oil should not be used by children under the age of 10. Peppermint essential oils should not be used on children under the age of 6.
