Chocolate Drizzled Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cup gluten free flour
  • 2/4 cup organic cane sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup melted coconut oil
  • ½ cup coconut cream* (see notes)
  • 1 tablespoon agave
  • 1 teaspoon arrowroot powder
  • melted dark chocolate chips (dairy free if making them vegan)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Add in wet ingredients and mix.
  • Knead dough until evenly combined. Roll out dough and cut cookies into desired shapes*
  • Place cookies on baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden.
  • Cool for 15 minutes and drizzle melted chocolate if desired!

Notes

* Coconut cream: place can of coconut milk in a fridge for a few hours. DO NOT SHAKE. The coconut milk will separate. The solid portion is coconut cream.
* You may need to place cookie dough in fridge for a few minutes if you are having a hard time cutting them into shapes.
