Spicy Chipotle Hummus

creamy chickpea hummus packing lots of heat! Easy dip recipe for any season! Enjoy this protein packed snack with crackers or veggies! Such a great appetizer or snack!

  • Food Processor

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup water more or less to smooth preference
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice fresh is best
  • 2 tablespoon tahini
  • 1 teaspoon cumin pepper powder
  • 1-2 chipotle peppers packed in adobo sauce
  • 2 tsp pink salt

Instructions
 

  • Pulse garlic cloves and peppers in a food processor until minced.
  • Add ½ cup water and remaining ingredients to your processor. Blend until smooth.
  • Serve or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 4 days.

Notes

Serve with crackers, corn chips or veggies!
