THE BEST HOMEMADE MAC AND CHEESE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

– elbow macaroni – unsalted butter – all-purpose flour – whole milk – cheddar cheese – mozzarella cheese – Parmesan cheese – Dijon mustard – garlic powder – onion powder

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and set it aside. Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the flour and whisk continuously for about 2 minutes until the flour and butter are well combined and bubbling

Slowly pour in the milk while whisking constantly. Reduce the heat to low and add the shredded cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese to the sauce. Stir gently until the cheeses have melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
