This apple dessert is made with apples, sugar, flour, butter and cinnamon! The ingredients are combined in a baking dish, covered with crumble topping and baked until golden brown.


Filling: – Granny Smith Apples – cinnamon – white flour – white sugar – lemon juice (or water)


Topping: – oats – white flour – brown sugar – baking powder – cinnamon – nutmeg – unsalted butter


How To Make  Cinnamon Apple Crumble Recipe

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Peel and cut your green apples into small cubes. Try and make sure they are all around the same size to ensure they all cook equally.

Transfer the cubed apples to a bowl. Sprinkle with the flour, sugar and cinnamon. Pour the lemon juice over top. Toss in the bowl then transfer to a quart baking dish.

Now make the crumble topping. In a medium bowl combine all ingredients. Using your hands is easiest way to ensure the ingredients all mix. Sprinkle over the apples.

Place in oven. Bake for 35-45 minutes. Watch the top for goldening. Remove and let sit for 10 minutes before serving

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!
