EASY WITCH HAT HALLOWEEN CUPCAKES
Easy cupcake recipe for your spooky Halloween party this October!
Boxed cake mix, orange frosting and fondant witch hats!
one box of chocolate or vanilla cake mix
one jar of vanilla buttercream frosting
orange food coloring
black and orange fondant for the witch hat
HOW TO MAKE WITCH HAT HALLOWEEN CUPCAKES
Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners (I used these ones). Preheat oven. Prepare the cupcakes as directed on the box. Evenly divide the batter among the cupcake liners and bake as directed.
Prepare the orange frosting. Spoon out the frosting into a small bowl and add 5 drops of the orange food coloring and stir. Do not over mix!
Spoon the orange frosting into a pastry bag. Set aside and create your witch hats with the black fondant. Mold the fondant into hats. Use picture for reference.
Once cupcakes are done, remove from oven. Allow cupcakes to completely cool before decorating them. Squeeze the pastry bag with the orange frosting onto the cupcakes then lightly top with the witch hats.
