HALLOWEEN SPIDER DEVILED EGGS (RECIPE)

A fun and easy Halloween appetizer or snack made with eggs, mayonnaise and black olives!

INGREDIENTS

Eggs Black Olives Mayonnaise (use vegan for a dairy free option) White vinegar Salt Freshly ground black pepper Paprika and Dill (optional)

STEP ONE

HOW TO MAKE SPIDER DEVILED EGGS

Hard boil your eggs: completely submerged eggs in the boiling water. Boil for 10 minutes. Remove eggs from the boiling water and place in a boil of ice water. 

STEP TWO

Next, peel the boiled eggs gently so the whites remain intact. I recommend doing this under running water. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the egg yolks and place in a medium bowl, place the whites on a serving platter.

STEP THREE

Using a fork, mash up the yellow yolks. Then add the mayonnaise, vinegar, salt, and pepper, stir until smooth. Fill each egg white with the yolk mixture with a spoon.

STEP FOUR

Create the spider legs by cutting an olive half length wise several times. Use an olive half for the spider body. Place the olive pieces on top of the egg yolk mixture
