HOMEMADE CITRUS ALL-PURPOSE CLEANER

This is by far my all time favorite homemade all-purpose cleaner recipe. If I was forced to turn in all my homemade products, this is the one that I would beg you to keep by far!

INGREDIENTS

- Citrus peels in strips (you can use lemon, lime, orange or grapefruit) - vinegar (apple cider vinegar or distilled white vinegar)

Put the citrus peels in a quart size glass jar and cover with the vinegar. Screw a tight fitting lid on top. If you are using a metal lid (like a mason jar), make sure you put a piece of parchment paper in between the lid and the jar to prevent corrosion.

Set the jar in a sunny spot for two weeks to infuse the citrus into the vinegar.

Once done, give it a good shake and then strain (with a mesh strainer) out the peels and pour the liquid in a glass spray bottle. This mixture is the citrus cleaner!

This recipe eliminates the need to add essential oils to cover up the smell of vinegar because it has infused citrus peels in it! It just has a perfect clean smell that will become a known scent of your home once you start using it regularly!
