Hey guys! Hope everyone is enjoying the summer. I can not believe July is already over! Which also means something else…It has been a year since Dylan and I have moved into our house. Such an awesome time of the year. One of my favourite things to do on a nice day is sit on our big beautiful deck with an iced beverage. We have a large farm behind our house so there are many cows that graze just behind our fence. I enjoy watching them in the mornings. There is something so peaceful about watching them. It takes away from the stress of my day to come. It is a moment to enjoy nature before heading into the big city and the busy hospital. I usually have iced coffee in my hand but I like to change it up sometimes. I made this one the other morning and it is something I just had to share with you guys. Iced acai tea latte.. YUM.
An Acai Tea Latte is a Healthy, Refreshing Summer Drink
So you are all probably curious about acai tea, right? Curious why I keep it stocked in my tea cupboard at all times? Well, there are actually quite a few reasons. Acai berry is the fruit of a palm tree that's native to Central and South America. Acai berries are known to help you stay healthy and prevent numerous chronic health problems. They are high in antioxidants and do have anti-inflammatory properties. There are also properties found in acai berries that have been shown to stop the growth of cancer cells.
Hope you enjoy!
