Hi Beauties!
Coming at you with a healthy Halloween snack for kids! Today we are talking all about these cute Halloween Banana Ghosts! It's a fun, spooky and healthy snack that kids will enjoy.
I am a big fan of food crafts. I think it's so much fun to hide vegetables and fruit into foods in a creative way. Kids will happily eat them without knowing they're actually eating their five servings of fruit and vegetables. That being said, I consider this recipe a treat and not just a fruit craft!
October is a popular month for Halloween. Children in particular love this time of year. Getting creative and making things to hand out to friends can be exciting, even if it costs a little more than you would usually spend on treats. This is because the kids get to decide what they want and how much of it goes into their bag of goodies. Skip the candy...Why not include these ghost bananas on your Halloween party menu this year! Lets jump into this
How to Make Halloween Banana Ghosts
These Halloween Banana Ghosts are so easy to make. Your kids will be requesting them all October long! There are so many different variations of these but I like to keep it simple wth just banana and melted chocolate! They make healthy Halloween treats that your family and friends will love!
Ingredients:
- Fresh Bananas (riped and peeled)
- Mini chocolate chips (melted)
Banana Ghost Instructions:
Super simple to make. All you need to do is peel your fresh bananas. I like to skewer the bananas onto popsicle sticks if they are eating them on the run. Next, in a bowl melt your chocolate chips in the microwave, stir occasionally so they don't burn. Use a toothpick to dip in the chocolate and create the ghost mouths and eyes with the bananas laying on baking pan. You can place them in the freezer for 30 minutes to harden the chocolate or eat them right away!
I don't know about you guys, but I'm a big fan of the cute and scary Halloween snacks, and this one is no exception. These banana ghosts would be a great addition to any kid party. All you need is some fruit and some chocolate chips! Your kids (and your friends) will love these little guys!
With Halloween just around the corner, talk about a fun, quick and yummy snack for kids (or adults) to make! I hope you have fun making these!
