How To Make Halloween Bat Pumpkin Muffins:
Ingredients
- All- Purpose Flour
- Baking Soda
- Baking Powder
- Salt
- Pumpkin Spice
- Eggs
- Brown Sugar
- White Sugar
- Whole Milk
- Pumpkin Puree
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Vanilla Extract
Directions
This recipe is fairly unpredictable and basic when it comes to making muffins. The first thing you are going to do is combine all the dry ingredients into a large bowl. Mix them until evenly combined. Next you are going to take a separate bowl and mix together all the wet ingredients until smooth.
Once you have your batter completely mixed, you are going to transfer it into a lined greased muffin tin (or a silicone muffin tin). Make sure you only fill them up ¾ of the way so they don't over flow when they are baking.
Place the muffin tin in the oven at 425 degrees for 5 minutes then reduce the temperature to 350 degrees for 15 more minutes. Cool muffins on a rack for at least 5 minutes before serving and placing the bat inserts in the middle!
How To Make Bat Muffin Inserts
I love how cute these bat muffin inserts turned out. You can either print inserts out or just hand cut them yourself. Its fairly simple to do and there are a TON of free printables out there. You can download my free bat muffin toppers here!
They are not the same as used in this recipe but just as spooky!! I recommend printing on white cardboard! They will stand better. If you can not use cardboard, I recommend not using the base of the bats and instead taping them to a toothpick! This will help them slide in easier
These tasty treats will get you in the Halloween spirit and keep your tummy happy. They're easy to make, and they don't require any special ingredients that you might not have on hand.
