For today's post I am sharing some awesome homemade gift ideas! Everyone loves a good homemade and DIY gift. Especially if it is something meaningful.

Back when I was a poor struggling student, I use to DIY a lot of my Christmas presents. I found that it meant more to people giving them something I spent my hard working time on rather then pull together my pennies to buy something in my budget range off the store shelves.

I also found DIY gifts to be way better to give someone who has it all already. For examples my in laws! I always struggled trying to figure out something to get them for Christmas because they really didn't need anything... So I would DIY something meaningful like picture coasters or a Christmas light up sign. Either way, I felt that it was nicer to give them something I worked hard on for them, rather then struggle to come up with money to give them a mediocre gift.

And I would also be SO excited to give the gifts I made.. even more so then the ones I bought. But of course there is always a little voice in the back of my head wondering if they think its tacky or just ugly. And that is human nature, its normal to think these things when giving a gift to someone. So don't stress about it. Besides that isn't what Christmas is all about! Yes I am pulling that card because it is SO true.. and we all tend to forget that little detail ❤

You don't need to spend all your money on a gift for someone.. the majority of the time they will love whatever you are giving them.
