When you should Use this Aloe Vera Hand Sanitizer with Essential Oils:
Hand sanitizer is a great alternative to hand washing, especially when you're in a hurry. Here are some of the times you should use hand sanitizer instead of soap and water:
- When you're out and about and don't have access to soap and water (or just don't feel like washing your hands)
- Before eating or feeding yourself or someone else
- When you have an open wound on your hands (yes it may sting, but you need to keep it clean!)
- Before touching food or eating utensils
- After using the bathroom
- After handling pets or animals (including birds)
But hand sanitizer isn't a replacement for soap and water! It's not as effective at removing dirt, bacteria, and viruses from your skin, so if possible we recommend using it in addition to regular hand washing. Here is when you should NOT use hand sanitizer. You need to wash your hands with soap and water:
- When your hands are visibly dirty, like after playing outside or handling raw meat. (This will kill bacteria, but won't remove dirt.)
- When you're at home and have access to a sink.
What Is Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is a plant that’s been used for thousands of years for its healing properties. It’s been used to treat everything from burns to acne, and it has a long history of use in cosmetics as well. Aloe Vera, also known as Aloe barbadensis, is a succulent plant that comes in many different varieties. The most common variety is the aloe vera plant that grows in a rosette shape. This plant can be found growing in regions of Africa, Asia, and North America.
Aloe Vera is a plant with soft, succulent leaves that can be used to treat skin conditions. The leaves are filled with a clear gel that has been used for thousands of years as a treatment for wounds, burns and other skin problems.
The use of aloe vera as a base in hand sanitizer may be controversial, but it has been shown to be effective in killing bacteria. The gel inside the leaves is used to create a base for many commercial hand sanitizers, which helps them kill germs while also moisturizing and soothing dry skin.
Aloe Vera is a great natural ingredient for hand sanitizer, because it not only moisturizes your skin, but also acts as an antibacterial agent that helps prevent the growth of germs. Hand sanitizer is a real lifesaver when you're on the go. It's quick, easy, and doesn't leave your hands feeling dry or irritated.
So not only do you get all of the benefits of traditional hand sanitizer without any harsh chemicals or drying agents, but you also get an extra dose of antioxidants and skin-loving nutrients!
Hand sanitizers are a quick and easy way to kill germs, but they shouldn't replace washing with soap and water. Hand sanitizer is great for killing germs on your hands, but there are a few things you should keep in mind:
- Hand sanitizer is not meant to be used as a substitute for washing.
- Hand sanitizer should only be used on your hands, not on other body parts.
- You should not use hand sanitizer for more than 60 seconds at a time—the longer you rub it into your skin, the more likely it is to dry out and damage your skin.
When it comes to hand sanitizers, you want one that's going to keep you healthy and clean. The problem is, many of the products available on store shelves contain ingredients that could be harmful to your health—and they might not even be doing a great job of killing germs in the first place.
So what do you do? You make your own natural hand sanitizer at home! Using aloe vera plant, witch hazel, tea tree oil, lavender and vitamin E oil, this recipe will leave your hands feeling soft and refreshed while helping them stay germ-free.
