I cant wait to share these bath salts party favours with you beauties! I made these for my bridal shower this past weekend and they made the perfect party favour. I really wanted to make something small for all the guests who came to my bridal shower to say thank you for coming.
I knew my guests would love these epsom salts because I have made them before for my bridesmaids and they all loved them! This time I changed up the scent and the colour. I used vanilla and rose pedal essential oils and used a light pink colour.
My bridal shower was blush, white, and gold. So these needed to be the perfect pink! I added the smallest amount of red food colouring to make this baby pink colour.
Make sure you have enough ingredients to have some extra for you! Whats the point of making something amazing if you don't get to try it too! Am I right?!
Ingredients:
- 6 Cups Epsom salts
- 1 tablespoon liquid Coconut
- 3 Drops of Vanilla Essential Oils
- 3 Drops of Rose Pedal Essential Oils
- Mini Mason Jars
- Red Food Colouring (Optional)
- Twine
- Mini Party Favor Tags (optional)
Directions:
- Mix the epsom salts, essential oils and the liquid coconut oil in a large bowl.
- Add food colouring to your liking. I added a very small amount of red food colouring to make the salts a very light baby pink.
- Spoon into jars.
- Decorate the jars with what ever your heart desires! I used twine and tags.
I bought these mini mason jars from the dollar store, they came in a pack of two which was great! It cost around 20 dollars for 40 jars. The other ingredients cost about 10 dollars. In total, cost me 30 bucks for 40 party favours! WINNING!
If you decide to do the tags, I would suggest printing them instead of hand writing them if you have time. I was a little unhappy with how they ended up looking hand written. My hand writing is so messy! But in a way it looks personal.. So up to you!
To use these bath salts party favours (incase you have never actually used bath salts before).. draw a hot bath, pour on of the mason jars into your bath.. Jump in and enjoy the beautiful vanilla rose aromas.
I hope you enjoyed this post on bath salts party favours!
