I love this easy cranberry sauce recipe because it's simple and delicious. It only uses a few ingredients and takes less than 30 minutes to make. Plus, you can use fresh or frozen cranberries - your choice! This is a great recipe to make ahead of time and keep in the fridge for up to a week.

How to Make This Easy Cranberry Sauce Recipe
The ingredients you will need to make this easy cranberry sauce recipe are:
- Orange Juice
- Water
- Sugar
- Fresh or frozen cranberries (NOT dried)
- Orange Zest
The first thing you are going to do is heat a medium sauce pan over high heat. Add the the orange juice, water and sugar and allow it to slightly boil. Next, add the cranberries, orange zest and return to a simmer.
Once it is well combined, reduce the heat to low-medium and simmer for about 10 minutes. You will know when it is done when the cranberries are all bursting open. To make them combine well, you can take a fork and mash the cranberries.
Once you have a cranberry sauce texture. Transfer to a glass serving bowl and cover. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving, or make ahead and leave in the fridge for up to one week. It can also be frozen for up to two months, just thaw in the fridge the night before.
This recipe calls for fresh or frozen cranberries and can be made in advance. Since it's so easy to make and lasts up to one week in the refrigerator, you can serve it alone or with a main dish. Your guests will love this twist on a Thanksgiving & Christmas classic!
