These balls are literally my LIFE.
Ok maybe a little dramatic but actually. I am obsessed with energy balls.
Are you ever sitting around after dinner binge-watching your favourite TV series on Netflix and then... the monster hits. That chocolate + sugar + dessert craving. The one you wish would just leave you alone so you can rock a bikini this summer in peace?
Well, don't fret any more friends. I have found the most perfect solution to help kick that monster to the curb once in for all! And that solution is these Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls.
I know that some people call these recipes "bites" and some call them "balls", but for me little balls of joy just suit these little round goddess snacks.
Ingredients for Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls
What you will need for this Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls recipe:
One ball can actually satisfy your sweet tooth once and for all. Take one out of the fridge and then that's it, your good to go! My favourite thing about these balls is by far the vegan chocolate chips. Like 'hi there good looking' get into my belly! Vegan chocolate chips are amazing because they don't contain dairy. Dairy just hurts my stomach and makes me feel bloated ALL THE TIME. Which is why all my recipes on my blog are dairy-free because I don't eat it.
A lot of the time my recipes end up being vegan too but I am not vegan. I eat meat occasionally, but when I do it's only chicken, turkey or fish. I stay away from red meats because I find that it really hurts me. My body has a harder time digesting red meat and leaves me feeling like there is a rock in my stomach. Just not worth it to me to suffer after a meal!
I made this batch for my mom, and delivered them to her work the other day. She loved them! Which made me so happy. One of my favourite things about creating healthy recipes is when someone says that it tastes delicious! Sometimes I worry that my taste buds have adapted so much to living and eating this way that I find not so delicious things delicious.. if that makes sense?
One time I had a medjool date with some almond butter on it and I was basically drooling all over it because it was so freaking tasty! And I said out loud "omg this date tastes like dessert heaven" and Dylan turned to me and said "that is so weird, it's a date". I died laughing because it was true! Yet here I am thinking its one of the sweetest treats in the world.

To create these chocolate loaded balls, you just need to combine all the ingredients into one large bowl and then take about 2 tablespoon handfuls and roll them into balls. You can do more or less depending on how much you want in one serving. I kept them fairly small because I just wanted them to kill my sweet tooth and not satisfy hunger. Up to you though!
